Judgment-Free Support
Whether you’re brand new, behind, or somewhere in between, we start where you are. No shame in your books, just next steps and better systems.

Whole-Money Perspective
Bookkeeping, cash flow, and taxes all connect. We look at the full picture so your business finances support your real-life goals (instead of fighting them).

You deserve honest guidance and clear expectations. From pricing to process, I communicate openly and I do what I say I’ll do.

Education & Empowerment
I don’t just take it off your plate, I help you understand what your numbers are saying so you can make confident decisions without an accounting degree.

Community & Care
Small businesses don’t run on spreadsheets alone, they run on people. I’m here to support the humans behind the numbers with care, respect, and steady guidance.

Calm, Intentional Growth
Growth should be purposeful, not chaotic. That means timely books, realistic goals, and steady progress that supports both your business and your life.

About Robyn LeBreton

Dedicated to your success

Bookkeeping and taxes shouldn’t feel complicated or overwhelming. My job is to keep your quilt, fabric or yarn shop’s books accurate and organized in a way that matches how your shop actually runs.

You bring the vision; I bring the financial know-how. Tell me where you want to go, and I’ll make sure your books are set up to support you: inventory and cost of goods done right, cash flow you can plan around, and reports that actually make sense.

My success is tied to yours. If your business is thriving, I’m doing my job.

My Background

Hi, I’m Robyn, founder of Balanced Path Financial. Bookkeeper, tax pro, and lifelong maker.

Before I was helping shop owners sort through bank feeds and tax forms, I was serving as an IT in the Navy, working in roles that demanded accuracy, problem-solving, and calm under pressure. From there, I moved into risk-focused work and spent years learning how numbers tell the story and how to use data to forecast future income, spot potential risks, and plan ahead with confidence. That mix of discipline, organization, and real-world experience is what I bring to every bookkeeping and tax client I work with.

Why I Started Balanced Path Financial

I didn’t just stumble into working with quilt, fabric, and yarn shops.

When my daughter was a baby, I learned how to knit covers for cloth diapers out of necessity. What started as a very practical project turned into something much bigger. I found a community of creative, generous people who shared patterns, cheered on my wonky first projects, and made the world feel a little softer and more supportive.

Years later, after my mom passed away, I needed something to occupy my hands and my heart. I picked up sewing, and once again, I found myself surrounded by an incredibly talented, kind community of shop owners, teachers, and makers who pour their skills and soul into what they create. I’ve come to deeply admire the people behind these shops and studios.

At the same time, in my professional life, I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant, hardworking business owners doing everything by themselves.

They didn’t need lectures or judgment. They needed a partner.

Balanced Path Financial is my way of combining what I’m good at (bookkeeping and tax support) with what I care about (supporting the creative communities that have supported me).

I want your finances to be clear to you so that you can keep doing what you do best.

I believe your business should serve you not the other way around.

Working with Balanced Path Financial means you’re no longer carrying the “money side” of your shop alone. You have a partner who cares about your business, your community, and your peace of mind and who treats your numbers with the same integrity you bring to your work.
